Is it safe to get a tattoo under anesthesia?
Anesthesia is not risk-free, but safety is managed through individual medical screening, qualified clinicians, a clinical facility, continuous monitoring, and aftercare. At Painless by Global Inked, our anesthesiologist reviews your medical history and lab tests and decides whether the procedure is right for you.
General anesthesia carries risks, including nausea, drowsiness, medication reactions, breathing difficulties, and rare serious complications. Tattooing also carries risks such as infection and allergic reactions.
After your session, you spend a few hours in the facility for initial recovery under monitoring before you're released.
