How long does an anesthesia tattoo session take?
An anesthesia tattoo session typically lasts 8–9 hours with 4–5 artists working at the same time. Plan at least 4 days in Colombia: day 1 to land and adjust to the altitude, day 2 for stenciling, day 3 to get tattooed, and day 4 to recover. We recommend a 5th day of rest.
After the session you spend a few hours in the facility for initial recovery, then return to your stay, or to our medical hotel with the Full Healing Package.
You can fly home on day 5 if you'd like.
